Brussels, September 2008 – TOSHIBA TEC Europe today announced the appointment of Robert Garcia as European Auto ID Business Development Manager.

Mr. Garcia was previously the Sales and Marketing Manager of Sinel Systems in Spain and will report directly to Angel de Juan, European Auto ID Sales Director. As European Business Development Manager, Mr. Garcia will be responsible for the company’s coordination of European partners and customers.

Mr. Garcia has more than 8 years of professional experience in the Auto ID industry with a record of extraordinary results. From January 2003 to July of 2008, Mr. Garcia served as the Sales and Marketing Manager for Sinel Systems, Spain’s top Value Added Reseller in the Auto ID market. During his tenure, Mr. Garcia played a fundamental role in re-shaping their international business and achieving profitable new growth. As Sales and Marketing Manager, his responsibilities included full profit and loss responsibility for the Auto ID division, including management of sales, marketing, hardware and software product integration and supply channels.

Mr. Garcia holds an Executive MBA in ESADE and a Bachelor of Political Science, Degree in International Relations by the University of Barcelona.
